This bird's watering place is a relief which discloses the forming process it has undergone: the gradual expanding of a circular form at the corners of a square of 120 x 120 cm.

This sculptural process which changes the area of the circle only by increasing its circumference finds itself in contraposition to and frontally attacked by a hollow formed like a spheral segment.

Chords and sectors (quadrants and semicircles) also form the characters of the script Erwin Heerich has invented and left to the town of Viersen to lay out their information boards.
